Why am I raising my fees?
After more than seven years of maintaining the same hourly rate, I’ll be making a modest adjustment to my session fees, effective August 1st, 2025.
If you’re an active client, this my $300/hour fee will see an increase to $320/hour
I’m sharing this update publicly because I want you to know how I arrived at the decision — and what’s coming next.
Why the change?
Like many in private practice, I’ve absorbed years of cost increases — including the economic ripple effects of the pandemic, rising operating costs, and inflation — without raising my fees. This decision has been intentional, and rooted in wanting to keep services as accessible as possible for those I work with.
At the same time, this adjustment reflects:
The value of the work I do with my clients
My commitment to running a sustainable, high-integrity business
The level of depth and experience I bring after more than a decade in this field
This modest increase helps me continue to show up with the energy, focus, and presence you deserve — while also making space for new offerings that will add even more value to your experience.
What’s coming next?
This isn’t just a fee increase — it’s part of a larger evolution in how I support my clients.
In the coming months, I’ll be rolling out:
Written tools and practice guides to support your work between sessions
Curated resources that align with the issues we often tackle in our work — including communication, emotional regulation, desire, and identity
A monthly newsletter that offers insights, reminders, and frameworks you can apply in daily life (not fluff — real substance)
If you’d like to stay connected with those resources, I invite you to subscribe to my client newsletter. You can do this by selecting the email opt-in option next time you schedule a session through my calendar.
Gratitude
Those of you who have worked with me over the years know how deeply I care for everyone who places their care into my hands. It’s a risk trusting someone to handle your inner most worlds. Especially when you have to pay them to do it. I appreciate your trust, and I look forward to continuing to bring you my very best,.
Warmly,
Mathis
